Veterinary care and advice for your dog, cat or other companion animal

All pets have an important place for our client owners as a companion, “furry” family member and friend. We understand the bond between you and your pet and that the health of your animal is an integral part of that bond. Over many years CVC has invested in widening the range of veterinary services we are able to offer our companion animal owners. This investment has not only been through our veterinary and nursing staff via continuing and tailored veterinary care education, but also through the provision of small animal specific equipment.

The companion animal team at CVC offers the standard range of medicine and general surgery services but in addition to this we also offer:

• Diet advice and health maintenance programs
• Ultrasound and radiographic imaging
• In house clinical pathology
• A full range of hospital and after treatment care facilities
• Orthopaedic surgery
• Dental and ophthalmic services
• A comprehensive referral network for medicine and surgical cases where required

Elective surgery is carried out Monday to Thursday inclusive via appointments. We, or course, offer a full companion animal emergency service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Grooming at CVC

As a pet you do not just go to the vet for a checkup – sometimes you go there to trick up your appearance. Our veterinary nurses have received on site, full day training, in all aspects of grooming from a recognized Melbourne-based leader in this area (Doogy Dooz). Our pet grooming service is fully equipped with the most up to date, high quality equipment complimented by a hydrobath facility. Hydrobaths are available both with and without an associated grooming package.

Pet grooming is available on all days of the week (except weekends) by appointment. A makeover is the perfect thing for summer!
