A big part of our local community

Our Veterinary Clinic has been an integral part of our local community for years. In that time, we’ve helped thousands of our clients cats & dogs, cows, sheep, horses and even a few snakes! Being so strongly integrated with our local community is important to us and our clients. Our customers know by experience that they can rely on us for sound advice and treatment options and that their pet is in the very best hands with our team.

COVID19 UPDATE   Tuesday 24th March 2020

Important message regarding Camperdown Vet Centre and the current impact of COVID19.

As the State of Victoria closes non-essential services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to reassure our clients that we are still open for business and will continue to provide veterinary services to the best of our ability.

Our priority is to protect the health of our team, patients and our clients, so we can continue to service our community.

In order to facilitate this;
• We recommend only one person per veterinary consult/pet.
• We will be maintaining a client-free waiting room to reduce client congestion.
• When you arrive for your appointment, we would like to ask that you please alert our reception team either by phone or waving expressively at the front window. Our receptionists will then give you further instructions.
• We ask that on arrival to the clinic you adhere to the social distancing measures.
• We ask that you phone ahead for any medication, food collections and/or product pick-up so that we can organise this and minimise your time in the clinic.
• We encourage the use of card payments over cash

An additional measure the CVC has implemented is altering our staffing arrangements and using a ‘team model’. There will be two teams and they will be rotated weekly; one team working from home and conducting ambulatory/farm work only, whilst the other team will be working from the clinic and treating hospital/medical cases. The basis of this decision is to ensure that if we have a team member (vet or nurse) impacted by coronavirus then we still will have a team that is safe to operate the clinic and undertake farm calls.

Most importantly, please refrain from entering the premises if you are unwell or have been in contact with anyone in isolation.

Thank you for your assistance and your support. We will all get through this together.

Please do not hesitate to contact the clinic if you need any kind of support - we are here to listen and assist where possible. There will always be someone on the end of a phone.

Stay safe.
